Elites & 4-Player Campaign Booklet

With the addition of all the components in the Collector’s Edition of Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone, there are a lot of toys for two players…almost too many toys! So, we decided to add a 4-player campaign booklet.

Designed for players to use the contents of the Core and the Collector’s box, this campaign plays over four scenarios with a bit of a twist! The players are on two alliances (Arasaka and Edgerunners), and they begin each game with a pair of random Showdowns before playing the predetermined Scenario.

The Showdowns cut the board in half so that we can pit a single model against a rival model. Each alliance pits its players against their rivals, swapping rivals between the two Showdowns. These micro-scenarios play out very quickly, and the models that engage in the Showdown carry over their Loot, Gear, and Wounds into the Scenario. Once those are resolved, the players dive into one of four unique scenarios.

Since we’re introducing a campaign, we also thought we’d take this chance to do an Elite version of every Arasaka and Edgerunner in the Core & Collector’s edition. This includes elites from the Arasaka starter! This gives players a lot of options when promoting during the 4-player campaign.

It takes about 45-60 minutes to resolve the Showdowns and Scenario, making this a great addition to any board game night or the centerpiece to an entire afternoon of Cyberpunk skirmish gaming for you and your chooms!
