Welcome to another Monster Fight Club Beginner Paint Guide!
This guide is designed to help hobbyists achieve a color scheme similar to the one shown on our studio-painted miniature. Rather than focusing on advanced painting techniques, this guide is intended as a simple, approachable color reference that will help you get great-looking results on the tabletop.
We aren't professional painters, just passionate hobbyists who love miniatures, gaming, and sharing what we've learned along the way. Feel free to follow this guide step-by-step, use it as a jumping off point for your own creativity, or put your own unique spin on the model.
Remember, there’s no wrong way to paint your miniatures! The goal is to have fun, learn something new, and create something you're excited to put on the table.
If you paint your own version, we'd love to see it! Be sure to tag Monster Fight Club on social media and share your finished miniature with us.
We can't wait to see what you create!
Before you start:
- Keep your brush moist, not soaked. A slightly damp brush helps paint flow smoothly and prevents paint from drying on the bristles.
- Thin your paints when needed. Two thin coats almost always look better than one thick coat.
- Let each layer dry completely before applying washes or painting neighboring details.
- Don't overload your brush. Using less paint gives you more control and helps avoid accidentally covering nearby details.
- Start with the largest areas first. It's much easier to paint small details after the main colors have been applied.
- Mistakes happen! If paint ends up where it shouldn't, simply let it dry and paint over it with the correct color.
- Rotate the miniature, not your hand. Turning the model can make difficult angles much easier to reach.
- Don't stress about perfection. Most miniatures are viewed from tabletop distance, where clean colors and strong contrast matter more than tiny details.
- Most importantly, have fun! Every miniature you paint helps build your skills and confidence as a hobbyist.

Step 1: Prime the Model
Prime the miniature and allow it to dry completely before painting.
Step 2: Paint the Skin
Mix 3:1 The White Room and Freezing Moon and apply to all exposed skin.
Rebecca's skin is intentionally pale, so take your time applying smooth, even coats.
Step 3: Paint the Hair
Mix 2:1 The White Room and Freezing Moon and apply to the hair.
This slightly cooler tone helps distinguish the hair from the skin while maintaining Rebecca's signature look.
Step 4: Paint the Jacket and Shoes
Mix 1:1:1
- Grey Goose
- Purple Rain
- Pale Blue Dot
Use this mixture for:
- Jacket main color
- Shoe base color
Paint the jacket secondary panels and headband with Dark Eternal Night.
Step 5: Paint the Hands
Paint Rebecca's gloves with two contrasting colors:
Left Hand (Your Left): Paint with The Red Baron.
Right Hand (Your Right): Paint with Neptune's Fury.
Paint the glove panels and mechanical details with Grey Goose.
Step 6: Paint the Gun
Mix 1:1 Autumn Sage and Nuclear Sludge and apply to the main body of the weapon.
Paint the pink accent areas and paint streaks using Pixie Pink.
Step 7: Paint the Tattoos
Using a fine brush, carefully apply Pixie Pink to Rebecca's visible tattoos and body markings.
Don't worry if they're not perfectly crisp, at tabletop distance they'll still read clearly.
Step 8: Paint the Eyes
Rebecca's eyes are one of her most recognizable features.
- Paint the eye area with The Red Baron.
- Carefully add Daemonic Yellow to the center of each eye.
This creates the intense cyberpunk glow seen in the artwork.
Step 9: Paint the High-Beams
Mix 2:1 Rainforest and Daemonic Yellow.
Apply this mixture to:
- Jacket lights
- Shoe lights
- Other glowing high-beam details
A second coat can help increase brightness.
Step 10: Apply Washes
Apply Dark Tone Wash to the following areas:
- Gun
- Jacket
- Gloves
- Shoes
Allow the wash to settle naturally into recesses to create shadows and definition.
Step 11: Final Touches
Inspect the miniature for any areas that need cleanup and touch up any colors that may have been dulled by the wash.
Once complete, your Rebecca miniature is ready to cause chaos in Night City!
