Combat Zone features the fast-paced [RE]action game engine where players can act and react in organic, free-flowing actions. No rounds, no phases provide a fast and cinematic experience. As your characters take hits and get wounded, their abilities degrade - so strike hard and strike fast!
Combat Zone leaves the traditional rulers and tape measure behind and introduces a new “Limiter” based movement and range system, where your characters’ attacks and movement depend on the quality of their actions. Choose your actions wisely, Green, Yellow, and Red Actions all have different chances to succeed!
Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone comes with a 22" x 30" game board, incredible 3D Night City ruins terrain, cards, dice, tokens, rulebooks, and acrylic standees. Everything including the standees and terrain are stunning full color allowing you to begin playing your games immediately with a rich, immersive experience!
The game includes two complete gangs: Santo Domingo Edgerunners and Arasaka Corporation with beautifully rendered full-color Standupz™, tokens, limiters, dice, modular terrain, double-sided 22" x 30" game board, character cards, gear, and programs. Both factions have enough gangers to build multiple, diverse rosters so that you can field a different type of force from game to game.

Don't just stand there, [RE]ACT!
The [RE]action System - An Introduction
Characters have green, yellow, and red actions. Depending on what color action you're taking, you'll roll a different size die or move a different distance. As characters take wounds, their actions turn red - and the red action dice is only six-sided!
When characters are wounded, they don't just stand there and take it - they [Re]act! Counterattack, dodge, or use one of their special abilities. You don't last long in the Combat Zone if you just stand around getting shot!
Characters
Each character in Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone has a character card with their skills, abilities, and gear. Some characters are fearsome fighters, some are technical geniuses, and others are brilliant leaders.
The characters' cards are the core of the Reaction system: they tell you how many actions that character has available, what their skills are, and what special abilities or gear they have.
The Limiter
Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone uses a unique measuring system: the Limiter. The Limiter is divided into three areas, matching the three colors of the action dice. When you're taking movement actions, you can move along the color of the action you took. So if you use a valuable green action to move, you'll be able to sprint much farther across the board than you could with a red action. Flip a GREEN action? Move a GREEN distance! Now that's moving!
The Limiter is also used to measure the ranges of all your actions and attacks. Each action has a range pictured above the effect: your target must be within that range. Some actions, like firing a sniper rifle or rocket launcher, may require your target to be "beyond the limit" - meaning they can't be closer than the length of the limiter.
Skills
When a character takes an action, they roll the color die that matches the action they just used: taking a green action? Roll a twelve-sided Green Die. Taking a yellow action? Roll an eight-sided yellow die. The higher your roll, the greater your chance of your action succeeding (plus every roll has a chance of a Critical Success or Failure).
After rolling, they add their skills to their dice rolls. So the higher their skill, the more chance they have of success when taking an action that uses that skill.
When you take Actions, you're often targeting a rival - and they have something to say about it. You add your Skill to your dice roll, but your target also rolls a die and adds their skill. An Action is successful when your dice roll beats your target's result. Not all actions are attacks, but successful attacks wound their target, turning one of the target's actions red.
[RE]actions
But it doesn't stop there - If your action successfully wounds your target, your target will have a chance to React, if they have any unspent actions. You can react and counterattack, dart away, or use one of their special abilities. If they counterattack, they must target the rival that wounded them. Moving away after being wounded may prevent you from being wounded again before that character can act.
Control of the Battle
At any given time, one player has Control of the battle. The character with Contol of the battle is the one who is currently taking actions with one of their characters. You lose control when your active character runs out of Actions. Characters can try to activate other friendly characters. When your rival has control of the battle, you can attempt to take control with a [RE}action!
This creates fast-paced back and forth gameplay, where control of the game passes back and forth, without getting bogged down in phases, upkeep, and accounting.

Pre-Order Terms and Conditions
This is a pre-order for Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone. These items are not currently in stock and require prepayment. Please read the following terms and conditions before pre-ordering:
Before Pre-Ordering
1. Estimated Delivery Date: We are targeting delivery in Winter (Q4) 2024. Even though all primary game design and layout is complete and manufacturing will begin shortly after completion of the pre-order, this is an estimate only. The world’s a weird place, chooms. If unforeseen circumstances cause this delivery window to change we will notify you through email.
2. Pre-Order Items: When pre-ordering, you may only purchase Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone and the Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Collector's Edition. Please do not add any additional items to your cart when pre-ordering. If you’re a gonk and make a pre-order which includes additional items, it will be canceled, and we will work with you to remake your pre-order correctly.
3. Thank You Coupon Code: As a special thank you, everyone who pre-orders will receive a one-use 20% off coupon code, applicable to any existing Cyberpunk RED: Combat Zone products. This code will be emailed to you upon completing your pre-order.
4. Shipping Charges: Due to the dynamic nature of shipping costs, the shipping fee is not included in your pre-order purchase price. Shipping charges will be calculated and charged separately once manufacturing is concluded and your order is ready to be shipped to our warehouses.
Order Finalization
5. Finalization Notification: When manufacturing nears completion and we begin logistics prepartion for shipment, we will notify you via email to finalize your order.
6. Store Credit: Your account will be given store credit equal to the value of your pledge. This store credit will allow you to finalize your order and credit you the cost of your pre-ordered items.
7. Order Finalization Process: To finalize your pre-order, please follow these steps:
- MonsterFightClub.com: Follow the link provided in the "Finalize Your Preorder" email. This will take you to the store, and Edgerunners Starter page. Add the version of the game you pre-ordered to your cart and then checkout.
- Login: At the checkout page, if you are not already logged into account, do so now.
- Update Shipping Information: Update and verify the address you wish to have your game shipped to.
- Shipping Calculation: Our system will then calculate the shipping charges and an applicable tax based on your order's weight, dimensions, and destination.
- Apply Store Credit: Check the box "Apply Store Credit" to apply your credit to the cost of your pre-order item(s). Please note that this store credit is only useable for finalizing your Edgerunners' preorder.
- Final Payment: You are required to pay the calculated shipping charges and the cost of any additional fees (such as tax, VAT, or optional shipping insurance) to complete the checkout process and finalize your order.

8. Shipping Estimates: Please note that these are estimates based on shipping from our US warehouse or our UK/EU fulfillment partner, but are not our best case scenario. We are actively working to reduce shipping costs for our all our customers before final shipping is charged.

9. VAT: Currently, all pre-orders are shipping from the US. International customers will be responsible for any VAT, customs, or other fees charged by their countries. We apologize for the inconvenience.
10. We Do Not Ship To: Due to different import and customs laws it is impossible to ship to the following locations: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Venezuela. Additionally, we cannot ship to PO Boxes domestically or internationally.
Pre-Order Confidence Guarantee
11. Refund Policy: This one's real simple because we want you to pre-order with confidence. The Combat Zone's a scary place, we get it. So if you change your mind or need emergency chrome installed instead, just let us know. If you request a refund before order finalization begins (when emails are sent), we will refund you your purchase price minus transaction fees. Once the order finalization has begun, we will no longer issue refunds.
11A. Coupon Code from Pre-Order Refund Policy EXCEPTION: There have been a few bad actors that are attempting to game the coupon system by creating a pre-order to get the 20% off coupon code, using it to purchase another pre-order copy of the game and/or use the coupon code to purchase a very large amount of product. These people then contact us and ask to have their pre-order cancelled effectively getting themselves a fraudulently acquired 20% exclusive discount that was never implied or intended. Accordingly, MFC reserves the right to refuse a refund to anyone who has already used their exclusive single use coupon code.
12. Order Corrections: When you receive your product, if there is something wrong with your order, contact us at customerservice@monsterfightclub.com and we'll make it right.
Final Terms and Conditions
13. Failure to Finalize: You must finalize your order and pay for shipping to receive your pre-order. Failure to do so may result in delay or non-delivery of your order.
14. Changes and Updates: Monster Fight Club reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
15. Acceptance of Terms: By pre-ordering with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
